Pre-Conception & Body Conditioning Therapy
For couples actively trying to conceive, treated side by side.
Who it’s for
Trying to conceive can feel like it's all riding on one partner — usually the woman — when really, fertility works best as a team effort. Pre-Conception & Body Conditioning Therapy treats it that way: regulating the woman's cycle while replenishing the man's kidney-qi, side by side, so you're both in the best condition possible going in.
What happens in a session
For women, treatment combines a herbal prescription to regulate menstruation and support conception with acupuncture targeting acupoints that soothe the liver, tonify the kidneys, regulate qi and blood, and clear dampness and stagnation. For men, it's a kidney-tonifying herbal formula paired with acupuncture. Both partners are treated in parallel, not in isolation.
What to expect after
Consistency matters more than any single session here — most couples work with our therapist on a weekly rhythm, and over time notice more regular cycles, better energy, and an overall sense that their bodies are in better shape for conception.

Common questions
Do both partners need to come together for every session?
Not necessarily every visit, but treating both partners in parallel gives the best results — we can help coordinate a schedule that works for both of you.
Will acupuncture hurt, and is it safe while trying to conceive?
Acupuncture involves only mild sensation and is a standard, safe part of TCM fertility support; your therapist will tailor the approach to your diagnosis.
Is herbal medicine compulsory?
It's usually a key part of fertility conditioning since it works alongside acupuncture, but exact recommendations depend on your diagnosis — this will be discussed during your free consultation.
How soon can we expect results?
Fertility conditioning works with the body's natural cycle, so most couples commit to a few months of consistent weekly treatment rather than expecting change after one session.
Can we start this even before we've had trouble conceiving?
Yes — couples can start as general preparation before actively trying, or after experiencing difficulty. A free consultation will help determine the right starting point.
